The marriage of the exquisite ‘Swanlake’ dress by Amanda Wyatt, the sumptuous setting of Karen Brost Whyte’s house, so rich in charm and classical elegance and the stunning and adorable models was so breathtaking, magical and so pick-your-jaw-up-off-the-floor beautiful that I felt utterly enchanted, and found myself composing a Hollywood love story in my head during this shoot. There were moments during the shoot that I could hear the crescendo of Craig Armstrong’s score to Romeo and Juliet’s Balcony scene in my head. It was MAGICAL!
The following pictures capture some of the wonderful moments from this magical day.
“… No sooner met but they looked; no sooner looked but they loved; no sooner loved but they sighed;
no sooner sighed but they asked one another the reason;
no sooner knew the reason but they sought the remedy;
and in these degrees have they made a pair of stairs to marriage”
AS YOU LIKE IT – WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE
“I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine …”
SONG OF SOLOMON
A stunning wedding dress by AMANDA WYATT
I am totally in love with this romantic wedding dress by Amanda Wyatt. It’s called ‘Swanlake’. The only way to describe this stunning dress is to call it what it truly is – an exquisite work of art. This strapless, ivory tulle dress is made with over 1,600 hand-sewn tulle pieces to create its dramatic skirt. How much passion and work has gone into this unique piece!
“I will have poetry in my life. And adventure. And love.
Love above all. No … not the artful postures of love, but love that overthrows life.
Unbiddable, ungovernable – like a riot in the heart,
And nothing to be done, come ruin or rapture.
Love – like there has never been in a play.”
VIOLA DE LESSEPS – SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE
“And I promise to love you every moment of forever”
EDWARD CULLEN – THE TWILIGHT SAGA
“It is at times like this that I know what my purpose is in life. I am here to love you, to hold you in my arms, to protect you. I am here to learn from you and to receive your love in return. I am here because there is no other place to be”.
GARRETT – MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE
“I love you, not for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you”. ROY CROFT
“When I first saw you, I fell in love.
And you smiled because you knew”.
“Take love, multiply it by infinity and take it to the depths of forever … and you still have only a glimpse of how I feel for you”. MEET JOE BLACK
“Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth; for thy love is better than wine”. SONG OF SOLOMON
“But I was born to kiss you” MONALISA
“If I could reach up and hold a star for every time you’ve made me smile, I would have the whole night sky in the palm of my hand”. RUMI
“I love all the many charms about you. Above all, I want my arms about you … My sweet embraceable you GEORGE AND IRA GERSHIWN
Here sits a SHE sun…
With my body I thee worship
And here lies a HE moon …
